Every mom knows that her baby can only stay small for so long, and it’s no different in the animal kingdom.
Just look at how big Emoyeni and Thulane’s Black Eagle Chick has grown in just over a month! To top it off, this kid’s getting their juvenile feathers!
Did you Know that Black Eagles feathers don’t become fully black until they reach age 5? Until then, they’ll shed their white baby down, grow dark brown feathers, and then gradually gain black feathers from age 2 until adulthood.
